I had to cover a cafe shift today. Cafe isn't as interesting visually because we don't really get to plate anything crazy. We get lots of compliments for our cafe food though. A lot of the employees work at other hotels and they say our food is by far the best. So it is reassuring that even though it may not look like the best food at least it tastes good. We did a taco day and about the only thing I found visual interesting was seasoning the beef. Pastries was doing some cool stuff and I got some good pictures from the rest of the kitchen.
